It looked to be one thing,

A warm and good day,

But Weather can be the Trickster King.

It seemed to be a day to sing,

A day to have fun and play!

It looked to be one thing.

A day to give the engagement ring,

With many of a warm sun-ray,

But Weather can be the Trickster King.

But a winter wind brought its sting,

Hope and fun can be Weather’s prey,

It looked to be one thing.

Some days, it’s not lying,

The rules it does obey,

But Weather can be the Trickster King.

So when you’re planning,

Remember this before you enter the fray:
