I Am A Toy

I Am A Toy
I always play,
Because I’m a Toy,
All throughout the day!

It doesn’t matter if I’m plastic, wood, or clay,
I’m something kids can enjoy,
I always play.

From the rising sun to the setting one’s final ray,
I’m played by both the girl and the boy,
All throughout the day!

But I must say,
With no rest, my joy is one to cloy,
I always play.

Through June to May,
It’s me that children always deploy,
All throughout the day!

My life is not ‘okay’,
Because I get no rest from being anything from hero to decoy,
I always play,
All throughout the day!

Light In The Night

Light In the Night
Deep into the night,
Yet seen by the Earthbound car,
There is a light.

It cannot be reached by a spaceship’s flight,
Eons away, it is that far,
Deep into the night.

Yet it has solved many a sailor’s plight,
Since it can be seen from afar,
There is a light.

From Earth, great is the distance’s height,
Millions of years away from it, you are,
Deep into the night.

Despite that, it’s easy to sight,
And its beauty has no mar,
There is a light.

Over the year, it may change its site,
But, until its death, it’ll be there, the star,
Deep in the night,
There is a light.

I Am A Big Cat

I Am A Big Cat
I hunt for prey,
Since I’m a Big Cat,
It’s not safe even during the day.

I, the Leopard, even find prey small as a blue jay,
I, All Big Cats, eat, but never grow fat,
I hunt for prey.

While the sun’s out, the prey thinks they can escape dismay,
But I, the Cheetah, loves this time to knock prey flat,
It’s not safe even during the day.

But thanks to human’s habitat-destroying way,
For prey or cat, there’s no welcome mat,
I hunt for prey.

For my trying to survive, the hunters and ranchers make me pay,
And poachers and hunters kill me like I was a rat,
It’s not safe even during the day.

Our fur becomes a display,
And from my only source of food I must scat,
I hunt for prey,
It’s not safe even during the day.

I Am Galvatron

Note: Fan-Fiction Poem! Galvatron is from the 1980's The Transformers series, Seasons 3 & 4, the American series.

I Am Galvatron
I’m the head of my domain,
My name is Galvatron,
And they say I’m insane!

Having powers and lots of it, I cannot complain,
Being the leader of every Decepticon,
I’m the head of my domain!

There’s peace and order in my reign,
And Autobot Violators and Traitors don’t live to see the dawn,
And they say I’m insane!

But everything I must ordain,
It’s often becomes a yawn,
I’m the head of my domain.

Surveillance on the gossip ring I maintain,
And I know what the common thought is in every pawn,
And they say I’m insane.

The loneliness causes me pain,
But no one wants to be friends with the Decepticon Khan.
I’m the head of my domain,
And they say I’m insane.

I Am A Series

I Am A Series
I continue on and on,
To be a series can be fun!
I can go from Tues. to Mon.!

I start, and give off many spawn,
Whether serious or with many a pun!
I continue on and on.

I’m still around when there’s no work for Lisa or John,
It doesn’t matter the position of the sun!
I can go from Tues. to Mon.!

But with no end I’m a yawn,
People go to cook or have fun in the amount of a ton,
I continue on and on.

Even when I want what’s foregone,
I cannot stop the run,
I can go from Tues. to Mon.!

One day I’ll finally be gone,
And only do those that no one will shun,
I continue on and on,
I can go from Tues. to Mon.!
